I am an accomplished pianist, and a published and award winning composer.
I received my musical training at the Manhattan School of Music in NYC where I was a scholarship student.
I have been teaching in my conveniently located Nutley studio for over 30 years and am experienced with children and adults (beginner through advanced levels). Beginners are welcome and it gives me great satisfaction to work with young beginners and help them develop into young musicians (usually 5 years old is the perfect time to start). In addition to piano, I am also an experienced instructor in music theory, computers and music technology, improvisation, arranging and composition. Students come to my studio from Nutley, Montclair, Bloomfield, Glen Ridge, Clifton, Belleville, Lyndhurst, Verona, Cedar Grove, other NJ towns, and NYC .
I always offer a free introductory lesson with no commitment because I want you to be confidant that you are making the right choice in a music instructor.
